Driving Directions for Tour Gardens

To Garden #1—going downhill in Gig Harbor on Soundview Dr

Turn right at intersection of Hunt and 64th. Proceed downhill & turn right on Reid Rd.

Garden is ahead on left in 2 blocks. NOTE: Parking is available at large building on corner of 63rd and Reid Rd.

Fom Garden #1 to Garden #2

Continue south on Reid rd to Hollycroft and turn right on Hollycroft. Turn left at light on Olympic Dr . Olympic Dr becomes -56th street and then Fillmore. At the intersection with Wollochet Dr, turn left and next a right turn onto 40th street. Next, turn left onto 70th Ave. Turn right at the intersection to Warren Dr. Then a left at the “Y” to Ford Drive. Turn left to 71st Ave Ct NW, (see a sign to Sunny Bay) up to the garden.

From Garden #2 to Garden #3

Return on Ford Dr to Warren Dr, take left onto Warren . At the intersection for the bridge to Fox Island, do not go left to the bridge, but continue straight ahead on Warren. At 91st Avenue turn right to the garden.

From Garden #3 to Garden #4

Return to Warren Dr, turn right and continue to intersection with 36th St (note this intersection is easy to miss). Turn left on 36th St then turn right onto Ray Nash Dr NW. Then a left to Artondale Dr. Continue to 104th Ave Ct NW (sign for Kopachuck Ridge) and turn right. Follow the street uphill to the garden.

From Garden #4 to Garden #5

(note gardens 5 and 6 are easier to reach via hwy 16 to Purdy. This is different approach than shown on the ticket map.

Turn right at the bottom of 104 th Ave Ct NW and follow Artondale as it becomes Kopachuck Dr. NW, then becomes Ray Nash Drive to intersection with Rosedale St. Right on Rosedale. Continue on Rosedale to roundabout with Stinson. Turn right on Stinson and enter Hwy 16 west. Take the Purdy exit. Go left at the traffic light across the Purdy bridge & spit, take left on Danforth. Next, a left on 98th St. to garden.

NOTE: Please park on the right side as you enter.

From Garden #5 to Garden #6

Go back across the Purdy spit and turn left at the traffic light to Purdy drive. Follow the short detour and continue on Purdy Drive to take a left turn on 154th. This street going north becomes Bethel Burley Road. Follow it to the Montessori School entrance just beyond the garden at 13541 Bethel Burley Road. Park at the Montessori School and use the trail to the garden. Parking also on shoulders of Bethel Burley Rd.   

The Gig Harbor Garden Tour is a self guided tour of 6 gardens in the Greater Gig Harbor Area. Each garden has a unique story to tell that reflects the gardener's heart and style. The variety, artistry, design. and color will inspire you.

When you purchase a ticket at one of the ticket outlets or online you will receive a ticket booklet that will include descriptions of and directions to the gardens. Ticket booklets will be mailed to online ticket purchasers. Your ticket will admit you to both days and to multiple visits to the same garden.
